ANSWER:

No, it is not a sunnah in everything but it is a good thing to begin doing things with saying Bismillah unless it was reported that the Prophet salla  Allahu alaihi sa sallam didn’t say it. 

Is it sunnah to say basmala before everything good, including going into the masjid?
