ANSWER: 

One must not share the platform with them to teach people as this might mislead others, thinking we approve of their innovation or deviancy.

We can have good relations with them on the hope that we can give them dawah or that one day Allah may open their hearts to the truth. 

 

 

Is it permissible for a muslim who follows manhaj al salaf to be friends with for example deobandis and sufis for the sake of dawah? Or have duroos together and so on? How should one be with ahlul bidah?
