You must not be part of this kind of a function at all, let alone recite Qur’an in there! This is disrespecting the Quran publicly. 

In our college a function will be there , in that dances and music will be there. and they are telling me to read some verses of quran in the function at the beginning, my Christian friends are reading bible before me. Can I read quran on stage in the function.
