If you sincerely intend to marry a girl, you should first determine whether she is righteous and practicing muslima with good moral conduct or not. You must select a good mother for your children and a kind wife. If this is all set and ready, pray istikhara and go ahead with it. Usually, your heart’s girl is not like that at all.

in matters of love and marriage, should we be guided by our heart OR mind… many times your heart is inclined towards one girl but your mind says or is in favor of other girl….in such a situation where there is tug of war or pull in two different directions, how can one decide which is better for us for future life and happiness. pls advice how to resolve this problem.
