You must not be in contact with each other at all, it is totally prohibited because you are both starngers to each other (non mahram). You must end this relationship immediately. He is either gay or waiting for the right moment when you are weak and vulnerable and then you will see the other side of him.  There is nothing as friendship between a boy and a girl as there is no such thing as friendship between a wolf and a sheep!
