If a couple wants to pray swalat together at home how should it be done,if the husband leads the prayer the wife needs to give the iqamah before starting? Can the husband lead the swalaat only with her wife behind?

ANSWER:

A man must pray Fard prayers in the masjid if there is one in the vicinity of their home. For voluntary prayers, there is no Iqamah.
Wife has to stand right behind the husband and the husband gives the iqamah and starts the salah. A woman cannot give iqama while praying behind a man.
