You must not sell anything before physically possessing it.

As for taxis, the service is permissible but there are few things to be
avoided. Such things don’t make the business haram but one must take his
precautions.

I would like to start a ‘drop shipping’ business but I am not sure if it is halal income. Some people are saying it’s permissible others are saying it’s not. What is the correct opinion? Similarly is it halal to start a taxi business considering I’ll be employing drivers to drive around female customers as well? Your opinion shaikh is very valuable to active questions.
