If a spouse repented, this is ok.

If one of the spouses is still committing adultery, the other spouse should leave and not stay with such an open sinner.

I was reading about major sins & I saw that a man who knows his wife commits adultery & does nothing will be punished by Allah. Does it also apply to women who know their husband is doing such acts but do nothing? Also does it mean they have to divorce either way, as in the case of Li’aan? Because people here say the wife must stay with the husband.
