ANSWER:

You must not expose your sins to anyone. Simply repent to Allah while showing deep remorse and sincerity and do not tell a soul about him. Ignore this person and block him totally and never communicate with him. 

I was in a relationship for close to 4 years. The guy didn’t turn up for marriage when my parents approached him. After my alliance is made to a different family, the guy comes back apologizing my parents and asking for my hand. I have accepted the new alliance and repenting for all my sins and seeking Allah’s forgiveness. How should my past be conveyed to the new family?
