ANSWER:

A woman cannot travel without her male mahram. She’s exempt from performing Hajj and Umrah because of this.

I wanted to know whether i can perform hajj/umrah.i m an orphan we r 4 sisters and stay with our dad’s sisters(phuphu’s)family.we dont have any mahram yet.can we perform umrah.we stay in india.

Respected sheikh. People in Pakistan write their dua on a page of paper and give it to someone going for umrah. That person throw the paper on the grave of the Prophet (P.b.u.h) with the intention that Allah will fulfill it . Is this permissible?
