ANSWER:

This is not how Istekhara works. 

You must first make the decision, after you and your father are satisfied with the proposal and after you have made up your mind then you should do Istekhara to seek Allah’s counsel. 

I received good proposal & everything about the guy is perfect.I did istekharah for 2days nd both days noone spoke about the proposal. Then again my family came up with it again nd this time i made istekharah asking Allaah to let my mom nd the guy’s mom fix the talk if its beneficial for me. But the next day the phone network didn’t work & they cudnt talk. Is this a negative sign?
