Yes must feed ten poor people or clothe them. If you are unable
financially to do this, you must fast three days.

I read somewhere that to repent one must make a ‘PROMISE’ to Allah that the person will never commit that sin again, which I recently came to knew that it is wrong. Now, when I didn’t knew this I made a promise to Allah. And unfortunately I broke the promise so do I need to do the expiation? I made the promise thinking that it is the criteria for asking for forgiveness!
