ANSWER:

You’re eligible to pay zakat if you have savings that reach nisab(Threshold) and stays with you for a whole lunar year, if not then you don’t have to give zakat. 

THRESHOLD FOR ZAKAT

The threshold of money is the value of 595 grams of silver which is about 300$. You try and set a date and on that day, you calculate how much you have and give 2.5% in zakat. Every lunar year, you do this process on that date. 

I have no house,I am renting temporarily.I saved money and still saving which is still not enough to build a house… Am I supposed to pay zakka???
