Exhaust all means to reach him. Try contacting his friends or family or his acquaintances if possible. When you have exhausted all means and he is still not reachable, in this case you can give that amount in charity to poor and needy Muslims on his behalf.

I have a debt around $490, but the person that I owe this money to is not reachable! I just have his email address, but he is not opening it. I am not sure if he uses it or not. I am very scared, I have heard debt is the worst thing and it prevents heaven for giving you access until debt is paid! I’m so scared, how will I pay the debt? Will the charity money be compensation?
