Estimate its price and give it to poor Muslims.

I borrowed a book from a person many years ago , I don’t have any contact of him . what should I do with the book ? Should I donate money to the poor to the amount of the books price ? Or what should be done so that I do not get in trouble/punished/(payup my sawabs to the owner/take janb of the owner) for this on the day of judgement ?
