You must not communicate with him especially when alone and you must abide by the full hijab in his presence.

I am visiting my in laws with my husband.My brother in law lives in the same house.I wear hijab&loose clothing and don’t approach him/ talk to him unless absolutely necessary(very rarely).Sometimes he asks me a question directly regarding kids or something else. Can/how can I answer back?my husband made it clear to his family he doesn’t like non mahram talking to me.

ya shaykh if i dont obey my husband by agreeing to join his gathering with his cousin,cousins mother and his cousins wife at my house , he got extremely upset and went on a rant that i am not being cordial to his family. He even was about to smash something of mine out of anger. Please advise.
