ANSWER:

You must not single out Friday or Saturday to fast these days. You can however fast on both Friday and Saturday, together. 

I am intending to fast for the 6 days of Shawwal!I want to do these fasts every Friday & Saturday because those are my off days & thus I can include a lot extra worship such as reciting Al-Quraan,Dhikr,nafl prayers etc. at the state of fasting.But I have been told not to fast on Fridays as it considered to be weekly Eid(!!!).Please Advise!
