The word Rahimeen is the plural of Raheem and it is permissible to call people by that name. However, Arabs would laugh at this name as it is plural and only one person is called by it. Therefore, I highly don’t recommend it.

I am going to deliver a baby in November inshaAllah. I was searching for baby girl/boy names and I came across a very nice name RAHEMEEN. But I guess this is ya arham or Rahemeen It means most Merciful. So it can be used only for Allah… …Can I keep this name for my baby girl or this is not allowed as it is only restricted to Allah?

By the will of ALLAH subhaana wa ta’ala, I have been blessed with a beautiful baby girl a couple of days ago and I wanted to name the child with a middle name I have been told that this might not be permissible … …and does the last name of the child have to be my 1st name or surname? Could you please shed some light? And a recommendation of a middle name would be great.
