ANSWER:

If you made this as a condition in your marriage contract, he is obliged to honor it or divorce you.

But if this was not a condition, you must resign and obey him.

I am a surgeon before our marriage my husband agreed to let me continue my job.After some time he started nagging nd verbally abusing me askjng me to leave job. I have tried many times to leave my job as I wanted to obey him.i did istikhara nd after that Allah always helps nd makes a way out as if Allah wants me to continue it but my husband behaviour really upsets me. What to do?
