This kind of relationship is absolutely prohibited in islam and you’re sinful for continuing this. If you don’t want Allah’s wrath on you in this dunya and the hereafter and if you want Allah to pardon you, you must immediately stop all communication with him and block him from everywhere besides repenting sincerely.
A man does not require anyone’s permission to get married except the permission of the girl’s father (wali). However, such marriages do not succeed much, therefore he should convince his parents with respect and diplomacy.
If he really wants to marry you, he must send a proposal to your father asking your hand in marriage and you must not be in touch with him at all until your father gives his consent and you both are married. However, if he is reluctant, he doesn’t seem man enough to make his own decisions and marrying such a person would negatively impact your marriage later on as he might yield to his mother’s pressure to divorce you.
