Scholars say that it is not permissible to revolt against a ruler unless one sees blatant kufr that is backed by evidence from Allah and that there wouldn’t be any bloodshed or corruption in the land! This might have happened in Tunisia as things are not yet settled. This is surely not the case in Egypt, Syria, Yemen and Libya!
