ANSWER: This is absolutely prohibited to keep and believing in such a thing would mount to shirk.

Few years back, i had a Mannat(Nazar) that if I get job I will visit the tombs/graves of 3 Sufi saints very popular here in Pakistan. Can I go there and say my salam or recite fatiha or just for a short presence. If not, what would be the alternative to my mannat?

ANSWER: This is absolutely prohibited and comes under fortune telling! Such people are professional liars and they make millions out of people. Believing them takes a person out of the fold of Islam. Listening to them without believing them makes the prayers of 40 days void.

Can we ask allah for something through the good deeds of dead people like awliyas.

My question is that some of my elders were saying that it is not good to place the almirah in a room facing south-west direction or something like that she was saying it stops in development of the family. Is this authentic? Is there anything such In Islam? I’m confused please guide me

ANSWER: If you gave him your hand willingly to read it, your prayer is not accepted for 40 days. If you are disturbed and you believe him, this takes you out of the fold of Islam.

This is the tradition in my society in the month of rajab that people make duaa & say if their wish will b completed by Allah they will make a sweet dish.they say ” oo Allah’s wali plzz make duaa for us to Allah & if our wish will b completed we will make NIYAZ on that sweet dish of Ur name”.now following ur videos & other scholars now this seems completely wrong.
