Is there the concept of ‘makafat e amal’ in Islam? Like if men of family did something wrong then it will come back to the women of their family. Likewise if parents did wrong things then it comes back to their children?

Sheikh, there are some video clips and sound clips circulating , the sheikh is saying that what hapened about the coronavirus in china it is bcoz they have burnt the Qur’an recently and harrassing muslims. So Allah is punishing them. I think it is not wise to judge by ALLAH’s Qadar..

ANSWER: This is knowledge of the unseen and only Allah knows about it. No one is authorized to claim that this happened because Allah is angry with them and He is punishing them! It can be a test for some and punishment for others.

Is there any way to escape from grave punishment? Do every single people need to suffer this? If not, which group in particular need to go through this?

ANSWER: If you avoid the things one is punished for in his grave, you will not be tormented in the grave.

My question is if the fate of a person will be decided on the day of judgement, then why will there be punishment to a sinner in grave? How can a dead person be declared sinner or good in the grave if that will be decided on day of judgement?

ANSWER: The punishment of the grave is not related to the punishment on the day of judgement. Some people would be tormented in their graves but not punished in hell. Others would not be tormented in their graves but will be admitted to hell.

I read that there is the excuse of ignorance for some people like ignorant Muslims who LIVE IN THE WEST WHERE ISLAMIC KNOWLEDGE IS LITTLE OR NON EXISTENT EVEN IF THEY COMMIT MAJOR SHIRK. when does the excuse of ignorance come into effect and when is it invalid as an excuse for an individual? also can you recommend books in English on the topic.

This is an issue of dispute among scholars and I follow the option of Sheikh Ibn Othaimeen as Allah wouldn’t punish a nation or an individual until the information has reached him and he has no excuse! He would be tested on the Day of Judgment.

My friend he did have mashura and his wife after 1month she’s pregnunt,and they abot the pregnunt,is there any sin or punishment for thant and is it forgivable by Allah?can they fast or pay sadaqa and is how much?
