My question is, I leave for office by 10:30am and there’s no scope of offering namaaz in the office by the time I come back it’s very late. And I try to offer my namaaz as soon as I’m home but at times I’m just so tired that I only offer the esha prayer and sleep. So can I offer the zuhr prayer before leaving for office that way I don’t delay it or miss it.

ANSWER: No, you cannot pray the prayer before its time is due nor delay it after the time is finished. You must pray on time as you go to the toilet and have coffee breaks.

As I come to know that making Dua after Salam in prayer is innovation the best time of Dua is after salutation on Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Can I make Dua in my own language in this time and can also make the Dua which is mention in the hadith

I noticed in the mosque after fard prayer is done and people done their zikr, they many times pray sunnah at a different place, is it advisable ?

Please explain in which prayers should we recite silently and should i be able to hear my voice while reciting or not? Also do we recite silently in last rakah of maghrib, and last 2 rakahs of isha? And how should we recite in sunnah prayers…silently or loudly? Kindly advise.

ANSWER: You should recite silently in Dhuhr and Asr and in the 3rd rakah of maghreb and the last 2 rakah of isha. Voluntary prayers should be all silent except for night prayers.

Is it necessary to cover ones head when the adhaan is being called out ? For females particularly?

My cousin sister from a different city is now living with us. Should she pray travellers prayer or regular prayers

ANSWER: If she is here for good, she must pray them in full, however, if she resides elsewhere, she can shorten and combine prayers until she feels settled in this new city. You must be advised not to mix with her whatsoever as she is non mahram to you.

Is salat not valid in a room where there is toys like dolls, dinosaurs or cartoon characters? There is no picture hanging on the wall. Only baby’s toys laying on the floor. Also is it allowed to have wallpaper of cartoon cars which have eyes on them?

ANSWER: You should not pray in this room or should cover these up with a cloth or something before praying. However, this has no impact on the validity of prayers.
