I’m a student of knowledge. I use to tell my friends Everything I heard about Islam and I’m afraid if what I’m doing is sinful because I didn’t read it from Islamic Books but I heard from World-Renowned Scholars. Shall I continue or stop and read by myself?

ANSWER: You should continue it as long as the knowledge that you’re passing on is from authentic scholars, you are quoting them by name and you do not add or substrate anything from it.

Whoever calls others to guidance will have a reward like the rewards of those who follow him, without that detracting from their reward in any way(muslim).Does this apply to only dawah,or also to islaah?

My question is that i’m student when I tart thinking about my career and making Dua for that then sometimes there comes something in my mind like why u want to become such things these all are worldy desires and comes that you should only focus hereafter. Your career it’s only worldy desires. At that I become confused should I only focus on hereafter or make some effort also for my career.

ANSWER: You need to strike the right balance between this Dunya and the hereafter as you can’t isolate one over the other.

There is an online islamic website which teaches Quranic Arabic and it has many lectures in it about different topics. Is it permissible to take fee for the services it offers. Arabic language I understand but shouldn’t the lectures be free

ANSWER: No problem in charging fees for lectures. By your logic, all colleges must be free and teachers must not charge money for what they teach!

One scholar said it is okay to celebrate birthdays and anniversary is Sunnah by pleasing wives. Nothing wrong to follow kuffars, as we speak English, wear shirt pants. Please advise as I need to ask halaqa sisters not to follow all scholars even he is very renowned.

ANSWER: Real scholars that I know don’t say such things! I advise you to follow real scholars like sheikh Ibn Baz, Ibn Othaimeen and Al Albani and not to listen to any Tom, Dick or Harry who claims to be a scholar!

There are scholars and people like scholars who I have benefited greatly by the will and mercy of Allah. However most of them support public female dawah figures. They do videos with them etc. Am I allowed to watch these scholars?

I adviced my relatives not to celebrate or greet for other religious festivals.In india as my view more than 80% of muslims didnt lives as practicing muslims and they dont know basics of islam , what will i do if they didn’t want our teachings , and my depression is can i leave doing dawah to this type of people.if i keep argue to make them understand i lost the relationship.

ANSWER: The voice of a woman is not an awrah. However it’s not permissible for women to give lectures on public platforms especially social media as women are not allowed to be filmed or photographed. Allah ordered them not to soften their voices so that men with illnesses in their hearts won’t be tempted.

Which book of Hadeeth ahkaam should a beginner student memorise first? Umdatul Ahkaam which has 430 Hadith or Buloogh al-Maraam which has 1358 Hadith
