If I have a friend of mine who sells shoes at 50$ and I help him look for customers and sell them at 60$.I keep my 10$ and give him 50$. Is that money halal?

ANSWER: This is halal as long as you let your friend know about this beforehand and take his permission and authorization.

Shiekh, I write articles for the LinkedIn of companies. Sometimes I indirectly market hotels but for business clients. Is it permissible to market a hotel for the purpose of meetings and conferences?

ANSWER: If the hotel serves alcohol and pork or has any other haram activities involved, it is not permissible to market for them as this is facilitating and collaborating in their sin.

Sheikh, I am a Firefighter and we are not allowed grow a beard as it interferes with the seal on our SCBA mask, is this still considered sinful?

ANSWER: Shaving the beard is totally prohibited and its not permissible to take up such a job which prohibits you to grow the beard.

ANSWER: Islamicly, if you don’t do work, you shouldn’t be paid for doing nothing! However, this depends on the rules and regulations of the country.

If anyone bakes a cake for sell & the buyer wants baker to write or decorate on the cake, “happy birthday “,” happy ending programme “happy anniversary”, “merry Christmas” Will baker’s income be halal?

ANSWER: No, this is haram income as women must not be filmed or photographed.

Is it allowed to work as a package delivery driver (for DHL) or as a luggage porter (in the airport) in a kafir country ? I ask the question because i would probably “unkowingly” carry haram items that are inside poeple’s packages or luggages.
