ANSWER: The best excuse is to tell them that such stuff is haram in Islam and show them the various fatwa on music and mixed gatherings and the likes.

ANSWER: No problem in this job but you must not change the color of the skin or facial features as such editing would be changing the creation of Allah and this is a major sin.

QUESTION: When it comes to the hadith of eating 1/3rd of ones stomach. There’s other hadiths like when abu hurayrah brought people and they drank milk at the prophet’s home, which through his miracle was endless and drank till they were full, how do we reconcile between them? Does this mean that to eat 1/3rd is recommended, but to eat till full is makruh?

ANSWER: It is not permissible to take photos of such statues as this is imitating the creation of Allah and one of the major sins in Islam. It is totally inappropriate for a Muslim to endorse such a sin by taking a photo of it and being proud of that.

ANSWER: No problem in making dua to settle down in Madina. You may get lucky and marry there.

QUESTION: I was wondering if we go moose hunting and of course, it’s not an easy thing to slaughter moose our religious way, so if we shot the moose and it dies before we get to run the knife would it still be permissible for us to eat?

ANSWER: This is permissible providing you say bismillah before shooting it. If you reach it alive, you must slaughter it. But if it died due to the shot, this is halal meat.
