QUESTION: Sheikh sometimes my family go outside, to restaurants etc. I want to go with them and enjoy family time. But the women of my family dont abide by the hijab and wear makeup and perfume.im the youngest in my family and hence my advice would not have any importance and instead would cause a fight. If i go with them, would i be considered a dayyouth and sinful?

ANSWER: You must not accompany them in public as this would be endorsing their sin and accepting it.

QUESTION: My brother, 1 year older wishes to get married. ANSWER: No problem if a brother gets married before his sister is married. He is not obliged to wait or to obey his mother in such illogical reason. If he is financially independent, he should go ahead and get married.

QUESTION: I wanted to know that what will be the ruling if husband had gifted all his property to wife in his lifetime in written with two male witnesses,but he took care of all the matters related to property be it renting or giving tax etc,( he handed over the rent money to wife and asked for the money when needed)after his death what should be the ruling of inheritance will it be wifes?

ANSWER: If she possessed that property and the deeds were in her name, this is her’s and no one has any right in it with her.

QUESTION: Sheikh, I stay home all day bcos I do remote job. During work I ask mom to give me food or water etc. If I was working at office I would need to do it all by myself. My mom is often busy with home chores and get frustrated sometimes to answer me. As man are supposed to go work outside, am I obligated to get food and water etc by myself or is it my mom/wife’s job to do this for me?

QUESTION: I cannot stand my sister. I try my best to love her for the sake of Allah but I just can’t. I literally don’t even want to look at her. She is mean to everyone and almost all my siblings had a fight with her just cause of how bad she treats everyone including my mom and she’s only 17. Also, my mom can’t get her to do anything without pleading to her. Am I sinful for not liking her?

ANSWER: This is a phase in her life that she will hopefully get over it. Treat her with kindness and compassion despite her behavior and without expecting anything in return from her and Allah will guide her heart one day because of this.

QUESTION: My marriage has almost 2 years and I am the only son of my parents. Due to some reasons my mom and my wife both relation are not enough so my wife demand a separate kitchen. ANSWER: People who die on kufr or shirk will never be forgiven and it is not permissible for their muslim children to ask Allah for forgiveness.

QUESTION: With due respect, I want to know why I am responsible for my younger sister since I didn’t produce it by doing sex. My parents did sex & made her so why am I liable to care whether she abides by Sharia or not, if she doesn’t earn I have to pay her living costs; why?
