QUESTION: Should we enter the bathroom with left foot if it is a separate room from the toilet? I heard you say in the series going through Bulugh al Maram that we enter the toilet with our left foot because we are about to do an act that is not honourable. ANSWER: If there is a toilet in that room, you should enter with your left foot.

QUESTION: You said it’s sunnah to recite Bismillah when starting something significant. So if i forgot to say Bismillah when for eg. starting to study or when starting the vehicle, should i say “Bismillahi awwalahu wa akhirahu” like we do when we forget to say Bismillah before eating.

ANSWER: Standing up while drinking zamzam was done by the prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam but not as a sunnah for it. Facing the qibla is when one wants to make duaa.
