In a nearby masjid where muslim men come to pray there 5 daily prayers, At the entrance in right hand side there sits two women, one is around 60 years of age and other is young with a baby in her lap.(wears hijab showing her eyes hand and feet) Is it okay for women to sit there for money & charity as pe give them money If No what can i do please guide

ANSWER: You should not give money to these people as mostly they are professional beggars. Give your charity to deserving poor and needy Muslims in your family or acquaintances or send it to our brethren in Syria, Burma, Palestine etc.

After Jummah prayer I was in a dilemma to either give my money to the poor(frequent visitors) or to give it for a construction of a masjid(one time visit). I ultimately gave it to the Masjid construction. Since Zakat is mentioned more in the Quran, should I have given it to the poor?

ANSWER: This is not zakat, this is charity. You must give your zakat out again to the 8 categories mentioned in the Quran. Give it to the poor and needy Muslims as Zakat must be given to a poor or needy Muslims in the form of cash to do with as they please.

How is the best to do/to prioritizing giving charity? I meant we don’t know if they are Muslim or not and will use it to their need or for their own pleasure in maksiat or they are just acting in need and look miserable because in this age many people become liars

ANSWER: You should not give your charity to beggars, rather give it to poor and needy Muslims you know in your community as our Muslim brothers and sisters have more rights over us.

Is it better to give sadaqah online through Islamic charities or should one give sadaqah in-person? Do online charities fulfill the criteria for sadaqah mentioned in the Qur’aan and sunnah?

ANSWER: It is best to give charity to poor and needy people that you know personally, like your poor relatives and acquaintances. However giving it online is also permissible if you trust that organization to give that to deserving muslims.

We sonetimes give charity and ask the receiver to make dua for us.Is this permissible.The thought crossed my mind that it should be for pleasure of Allah not receiving something in return from the receiver.
