The authentic hadeeth states that there were 315 Messengers and about 120,000 Prophets.

We are only told about 25 of them in the Quran and Allah tells us that there are a lot that We didn’t tell you about.

That is why we don’t know about the rest of these Prophets and Messengers.

As I read the quran, I find many rasuuls (prophets) were sent mainly to people in the middle eastern region and we do not hear much about other civilizations that predate these people e,g the chineese, Indians, Europeans,Greeks,and so on. What could be the explanation for this?
