When people fear something, they run away from it. When we fear Allah, we run to Him as our fear is combined with love and hope. Without any of these three ingredients, a person is not considered to be a real Muslim. 

A non muslim asked me, why do you have to fear your god? Isnt it a threat from ur god to fear him? Whats the best response to this sheikh.
