Recently my company terminated me. I had an agreement with the company where the company states that the end-of-service benefits are included in the Salary. However, as per the labor law it is illegal. My question is whether it is halal to claim the end of service benefits in the labor court or not. Which one is correct to follow the labor law or the agreement? Kindly advise
If it’s mentioned in your agreement that end service is included in your monthly salary and you signed on it then you cannot claim it through labor court. Their sin in disobeying the authorities doesn’t make it halal for you to take what is not yours again!
