Sheikh Is it permissible to describe someone to their face with something about them that is true or does it come under the heading of forbidden insulting? For example if I say to someone they are a disgusting liar, a thief or a shameless woman as a فاجرة is it OK so long as its true of them and not behind their back? Its a true trait of them and not an insult like calling them a pig

ANSWER:

This is not permissible unless there is legitimate reason for that and one has evidences to prove it and the consequences of it would be positive.

You must be diplomatic and wise when dealing with such situations.
