From my understanding yameen refers to during in the past e.g. wallahi fulan did such and such, but nadhr refers to the future e.g. wallahi I will do such and such, but I am also confused. Can you write the definition of both if possible??

ANSWER:
This is not correct.
Yameen is an oath whether in the future or the present or the past.
Nathr is a vow or a pledge and one says it to obligate it upon himself to do a certain form or worship.
